This week I’m talking all things organisation. For me, I have to have a clean and tidy house to work in. Lots of mess, or things not put back in their place really distracts me from my job and makes me so much more stressed. But, we are in a global pandemic and our families are at home more than anything right now meaning our houses don’t stay clean and tidy for long. I’m here to take some of the stress away with my free printables below, but I also wanted to share with you my top 5 organisation, cleaning...
Interior Design Tips #2 - Curtains
Posted by Sophie Ingleby on

Tip number 2 is all about curtains and how to get an expensive look, without an expensive price tag. Tip: Always have long curtains, down to the floor. I painted it in Hague Blue and Ammonite from Farrow & Ball to get rid of the gold wall (pictured below) that was there when we moved in. I loved the colours but on photographs, the blue looked green and I hated that! The estate agent photo featuring the gold wall and the Hague blue after we had decorated. A big improvement on the gold wall but looked green on photos! I had been researching panelling ideas on...
Living Room Makeover
Posted by Sophie Ingleby on

The living room used to be my least favourite room in the house. I’m not sure why but it just never felt welcoming or homely, and I hated sitting in there. I think I’ve only sat in it a handful of times since getting the keys in January 2019. The fireplace was the part I disliked the most, it was just so orange (see estate agent pictures above) and I didn’t like the black tiles. So basically there wasn’t much I did like about the room and I needed to change everything. I started on Pinterest (obviously, where...
